This weekend we took part in the Welsh Celtic Festival, held in Porthcawl, near Cardiff. The weekend was packed with talented dance groups and bands, including Mabon and ex Riverdance fiddler Niamh Ní Charra. We followed Mabon’s superb set and finished off the Saturday night in style with a Scottish Ceilidh. Everyone had a great time and the feedback we received from other musicians and the event organisers was excellent. We’ll hopefully have some photos and video footage up for you soon so you can get an idea of what the weekend was like. The band is now preparing for heading to the festival in Steenvorde, France at the end of April, where hopefully we can make just as good an impression!
